YELLOWBRICKROAD Communications was founded on the premise of being the change we wish to see in the world and we act on that very notion every day. It is reflected in all aspects of our business – from our work environment to our volunteer outreach. We have worked hard to establish an atmosphere where change can flourish and where employees are compelled to make a difference. We make sure to walk the talk day in and day out.
20 percent of our employees’ time is dedicated to designing social change not associated with our client work. This time is focused on either his or her own individual causes (Lupus Foundation of America for example) or our YBR advocacy (our book and film projects).
As a team, we volunteer every other month at Loaves and Fishes, through The Church of Saint Paul the Apostle, helping to serve those who need it most.
We take part in the Everybody Wins! Power Lunch Program. During the school year we are paired up with a local NYC Elementary School student with whom we read with and mentor each week. We help promote reading skills and guarantee that each week our buddy has one-on-one time to read out loud and share stories.
We attend cultural outings each quarter, which help ground us in our work. Previously, we have seen film viewings and visited landmarks in NYC to help put our work in proper perspective.
We are always seeking individuals who are driven by making the most change possible every single day. If this sounds like an environment and a team you’d like to be part of, we’d love to hear from you. Please click here to learn more about opportunities at YELLOWBRICKROAD.
